Welcome to the
Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services wiki. This site provides information to the insurance industry on a variety of topics (
here are some ideas to begin populating the site). Since the site is a wiki, information is created and modified by users. We hope you will contribute and add to the resource often.
- Finding information on the site. If you are looking for information about a particular subject, click the search button in the upper right hand corner of this page (the magnifying glass button).
- Creating new content for Katiepedia. To write/create a new page and contribute to the Katie School wiki, click the New Page (+) button.
- Editing/comments on an existing page. The Edit button looks like a pencil. Change previous postings by adding details, provide alternative views, or simply comment on what is already there.
- Adding "tags". When creating or editing information on this site, you should note that information is categorized according to "tags" that are chosen by the content creator. When you edit a page on this site, be sure to input descriptive tags that will help visitors find your information quickly. During edit mode, the tags section is located at the very top of the page (just under the title "Katie School of Insurance and Financial Services".) Pages can have many tags for cross referencing - for each tag, enter the word and hit "enter".
- Settings (admins). To change wiki settings, log in as a group owner or administrator, click Settings, then click the Edit (pencil) button.
